IK KAN HET ZELF! / I CAN DO IT MYSELF! was my graduation project at St.Joost, School of Art & Design.

It is a picture book that follows a young witch who is struggling to use her magical powers. The book teaches children from ages 4 and up that it is ok to ask for help.

SPELLBOUND: fieldnotes on the strange & magical

SPELLBOUND is a zine I worked on in semester 6 of St.Joost. The story follows 4 peculiar characters who each, for their own reasons, do research on magical plants found in the Spellbound forest. Together they find the answer to a big mystery.

I worked on this project with Sprout Studio (consisting of Robin de Cocq van Delwijnen, Isabelle van Esch, Romee van Ekeren & me).

OFFICE BEAR

OFFICE BEAR is a 2D-animation project I worked on during my minor development for visual storytelling. It was pitched as a tv-series about a bear who works an office job. However, because of the fact that he's a bear, the office life is a bit tougher for him than it is for his collegues. Which leads to him facing and causing a lot of problems at work.

I worked on this project with Nyala van Hus, Zerline van der Stel and Deanne Warnaar. And later with Jane van Wechem, Timon van der Wal and Salah Zeroual

ANISERUM

ANISERUM is another project I worked on during my minor development for visual storytelling. It was pitched as a 2D/3D-animated movie that was set in a future where DNA modification defines social status. A working-class man is chased for his perfect genes and becomes the reluctant leader of the rebellion against the big animal DNA industry.

I worked on this project with Zerline van der Stel, Jane van Wechem and Timon van der Wal.
